Cancellation Policy.

Last updated: 29-Jan-2026

We understand that travel plans sometimes change. Our cancellation policy is designed to be fair to both travellers and our service partners.
All cancellations must be sent in writing by email to:
info@tourguideinindia.com
Cancellation charges apply from the date we receive your written notice.

Standard Cancellation Charges

  • 60+ days before arrival: 10% of tour cost
  • 59–30 days before arrival: 20% of tour cost
  • 29–15 days before arrival: 25% of tour cost
  • 14–7 days before arrival: 50% of tour cost
  • 6 days or less / No-show: 100% non-refundable
These charges apply because hotels, transport providers, and guides require advance commitments.
Holiday Period Bookings (Christmas & New Year)

Bookings made for travel between 20 December and 5 January are non-refundable due to peak season supplier policies.
Wildlife Safari Bookings

All wildlife safaris booked in Indian National Parks and Sanctuaries are 100% non-refundable.

This rule is set by the Government forest authorities and park management.

Even a request to change safari dates is treated as a cancellation by the park authorities.

We do not have control over this policy.

Cancellation After Trip Start.

If a trip is cancelled after it has begun, refunds (if any) depend entirely on what we are able to recover from hotels and service providers.
Unused services such as:

  • hotel nights
  • transportation
  • meals
  • activities
Are generally non-refundable.

Refund Processing Time.

Approved refunds are processed after receiving supplier refunds and may take up to 30 days to complete.

Business Day Policy.

Cancellations are processed on working business days. Notices received on Sundays or public holidays are considered received on the next working day.
