History About Chini Ka Rauza:-
There is yet another less-known and truly impressive
structure in Agra namely Chini Ka Rauza. This tomb was built in 1635 A. D for
Allama Afzal Khan Mullah, a great scholar and poet and the Prime Minister in the
court of Shah Jahan. It gets its name from the Hindi words Chini, which means
Chinese, and Ka Rauza, which means Tomb due to the place’s use of glazed tiles,
also known as Chini on its façade.
Archetecture of Chini Ka Rauza;-
Combined with Persian
and Mughal styles this building represents one of the most beautiful examples
of architecture of that period. Due to the access to its inside more
architectural features can be singled out, such as its rectangular form and the
ribbed dome. The exterior is decorated with numerous blue, yellow, and green
tiles, as well as floral and geometric designs that are perfect works of art of
the period. Some of the materials used in construction are glazed tiles,
stucco, and terracotta which were rarely used in Mughal building construction
and show Persian influence.

Measuring approximately 19000 sq mts of land Chini Ka Rauza
is located on the eastern bank of the river Yamuna and thus has a beautiful
piece of location.
Opning Times of Chini Ka Rauza:-
This monument is open daily, normally from sunrise to sunset
that is from 6:00 am to 6:00 pm. It is advisable to travel all
year round, however.
What Is Good Time or Weather to Visit Chini Ka Rauza:-
the best time to go is during the early autumn between
October to March when it is moderately warm for touring.
